What is a ‘Virtual Renovation’?2024-05-26T00:16:32+00:00

A virtual renovation is a sophisticated rendering process that goes beyond simple virtual staging or adding virtual furniture. It involves using advanced rendering software to make significant alterations to a property’s physical appearance. Unlike virtual staging, which typically involves adding only virtual furniture to empty rooms, virtual renovations can completely transform a physical space by removing existing unsightly items, reconstructing missing room details, and even making structural changes. This process includes updating carpets, walls, window frames, and much more, allowing potential buyers to visualize the true potential of a property.

What camera equipment do you use?2023-03-30T00:55:02+00:00

As professional real estate photographers, we have a range of camera equipment in our arsenal. This includes the latest high-end full-frame camera bodies for low light sensitivity with a minimum of 50 megapixels optical resolution. We also use a range of lenses from Wide angle for most of the property interiors and additional Zoom lenses to capture expansive views.

Typically a camera body alone will set us back $5,000 along with a wide-angle lens for $3,500. That’s before we talk about the tripod, lighting, other lenses, 360 degree cameras, video & audio equipment brought on-site.

Are you insured? Do you have Public Liability insurance?2023-03-28T09:14:56+00:00
Absolutely! We have $20mil public liability insurance. Just ask us if you require to see a Certificate of Currency.
Is it ‘legal’ to take an aerial Drone photo of my property?2023-04-02T05:24:54+00:00
a.) Can you fly anywhere?
Not everywhere, unfortunately. The Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) restricts flying in certain areas of Sydney. For example, all of Sydney Harbour and areas like the Lower North Shore (Mosman across to North Sydney and up to Chatswood) is restricted air space.  As a CASA licensed pilot, we can apply for an airspace approval window of 30-60 minutes to use our drone. Applications take 3 days to process by CASA and are free of charge. CASA licensing also allows us more freedoms including flying at night for aerial dusk photo shoots.
b.) Are you insured?
Yes, as a CASA licensed UAV pilot, we are able to obtain full Public Liability insurance for $20mil, whereas unlicensed pilots can not obtain insurance.
c.) What if it’s threatening to rain on the day?
Quite simply we need to reschedule as drones don’t last too long in the rain and if they fail while in the air, they become a falling missile with the potential to harm or kill people, or damage cars and property. High winds (above 35km/hr) and extreme heat days (over 40˚C) are also problematic for drones to operate safely.
d.) Why should we use ‘Crying Out Loud’ for aerial photography of our property?
We are not just aerial drone pilots. Real Estate is all we do every day and we know how to market properties! Aerial Photography is just another add-on to our full product suite to help you market your property.

When will I receive my photos?2023-03-29T01:57:31+00:00
We offer a 9 am Next Day Delivery service for photos & floor plans. Delivery is by download from a Dropbox URL link sent to you by email. Other products and services may take additional time.
Can you photograph my Airbnb?2023-03-28T08:57:08+00:00
Absolutely! We do plenty of them and can offer great digital imaging advice. We also regularly shoot for large hotel chains. restaurants, cafes, public venues & commercial spaces. Your property may also be suited to our other marketing services of Aerial photography, Floor plans or even Virtual Tours – Let’s talk!
I’m a professional real estate agent. What can you do for me?2023-03-28T09:23:40+00:00
We have a lot of resources available to you including detailed product brochures and price lists that you can use in your prospecting kits. We can also collaborate on marketing ideas and packages specifically for your agency. Please get in touch directly and let’s discuss a custom solution for you. We’ll make you look gooood!
Can I take my own photos and get you to edit them?2023-03-28T09:09:51+00:00
Sadly no. We use high-end professional photographic equipment that achieves high resolutions in low-light environments. We also take a range of exposures to blend them back together to create the final product. This is something we have to capture ourselves in order to do the editing process.
What if the weather forecast is for rain & storms on our booking day?2023-04-02T05:07:53+00:00
This is something we both need to watch closely leading up to the day. While we have tricks up our sleeve that allow us to use low light and replace skies with blue skies, it all comes down to your tolerance and deadlines to market your property. With waterfront properties that boast spectacular views, we do generally recommend rescheduling to a better day. You can’t beat the look of real sunshine!
Aerial drone photography & videography must also be cancelled on days of rain, high wind (above 35km/hr) or even extreme heat (above 40ËšC). If a drone fails while in the air, they become a falling missile with the potential to harm or kill people, damage cars or property. So we must have a no-risk approach.
However, our Floor Planner is happy to get wet.
Why should I use a Real Estate Photographer?2023-04-01T06:56:24+00:00
Simply, quality images sell. They are the difference between capturing someone’s impulsive interest with a first impression or being brushed aside. Similarly, it’s the difference between renting your property on the first weekend’s open inspection or missing out on a few weeks rent. We use the best digital imaging technology, wide-angle lenses and a collection of other tools that allow us to get the best out of your property. We can also offer advice on other products and services that may suit the marketing of your property with respect to your budget.
Should I get a ‘Property Video’ to market my home?2024-02-10T09:35:30+00:00
Video is a powerful marketing tool that can showcase your home in a way that photos and text cannot. Video gives potential buyers a more immersive and detailed view of your property helping to create a more emotional response using uplifting music and heart-rate-increasing editing techniques.
When it comes to property marketing, video is now seen as the new gold standard in marketing by real estate agents. Video content also often tends to show up first in information searches as the preferred form of content delivery.

How soon can you book me in for a property photoshoot?2023-03-28T09:13:54+00:00
For rental properties, we can generally fit you in within 2 or 3 days notice (Sometimes even same day!). For sales shoots, best to allow a good 5-7 working days notice so we can coordinate our whole team for photography, floor plans, videos and aerial work. A lot more time is required on-site for these shoots.
What if I am not happy with my photos?2023-03-28T10:22:33+00:00
Then we are not happy. Best to get back in touch and talk to us. There is a lot we can do in photoshop to correct colours, paint walls, remove items and so on. However, please keep in mind that we are not magicians. If you are aware of any issues with your property then please raise these during the shoot so we can address them while on-site and offer you a number of solutions to choose from. We can creatively solve most problems!
